We were searching for a low-cost furniture system that allowed for easy installation and configuration options based on a single core component.
We couldn't find one good enough, so we decided to design one ourselves.
The Hex is a furniture system that allows for endless configurations based on one steel hexagon structure.
Drawing inspiration from endless possibilities of LEGO bricks, the components are spreadable horizontally for seating, and stackable vertically to provide shelving and storage.
Future product iterations allow for additional configurations. Such as planter installations in addition to seating and storage.
The system is designed to work for public spaces, such as libraries, where the community can take ownership in shaping the layouts and making the final design decisions.
Eventually people started asking us if they could have some for their homes.
